MKG International Martial Arts Madison follows the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC and Public Health Madison Dane County.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED WHILE INSIDE THE FACILITY REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS

  • CDC had added a recommendation for fully vaccinated people to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.
  • PHMDC has issued an Emergency Order 
    • Effective January 3rd, 2022, PHMDC has issued an Emergency Order that requires face coverings among people ages two and older when in any enclosed space open to the public where other people, except for members of the person’s own household or living unit, are present.

  • Please bring your own face covering. If you forget, we have free disposable masks available in the foyer near the restrooms.
  • Your personal medical information is PRIVATE.
    • Due to HIPA laws, MKG Madison will not ask for your current vaccination status. If you chose to volunteer any medical information to MKG Madison or any staff it will not be shared. 
  • If you are feeling ill, as always, stay home until you feel better.
  • When you are at the gym, we ask that you thoroughly wash or sanitize your hands before and after training.

Current Guidelines for Exposure or Positive Test for COVID-19

If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate) – Everyone, regardless of vaccination status.

  • Stay home for 5 days.
  • If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.
  • Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
  • If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine) and . . .

  • Have been boosted
  • Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months
  • Completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months

You should:

  • Wear a mask around others for 10 days.
  • Test on day 5, if possible.
  • If you develop symptoms get a test and stay home.

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine) and . . .

  • Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted
  • Completed the primary series of J&J over 2 months ago and are not boosted
  • Are unvaccinated

You should:

  • Stay home for 5 days.
  • After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
  • If you can’t quarantine you must wear a mask for 10 days.
  • Test on day 5 if possible.
  • If you develop symptoms get a test and stay home
