Our New Floating Floor!

This new floor will make training saver than ever! It will make training easier on our joints and allow for more of a cushion for takedowns and falls.

This just one of the ways that we are committing to making 2020 even better then 2019!

More Intro to Martial Arts Workshops

In 2019, we tried something new with “Intro to Martial Arts Workshops” and they were a big success.

So, in 2020, we have committed to doing this workshop the 2nd Saturday of each month, starting with this week!

If you have if you have any family, friends or coworkers that have expressed interest in what you are doing here at MKG Madison this is a great opportunity to show them.

Monthly Deep Dive Workshops

In 202, MKG Madison is also committed to the development of our current students by offering more workshops on specific areas or concepts in the MKG Curriculum.

These “Deep Dive” workshops will be the 3rd Saturday of each month and will explore topics that we may not touch on in class on a regular basis or just needs further time and work.

If you have a topic that you would like to see covered talk to Josh or just drop us an email!

This unit we are talking about Respect.

What is respect? It kind of hard to define, so for us it means;

“Being thankful for the people in our lives and also being thankful for the things they do for us.”

This week we will be taking specifically about how to show respect for those in authority.

MKG Kids, you should be thankful your parents, teachers, coaches and instructors. They are their to help you grow and develop into awesome young people. A great way to show your respect for them is by being “First Time Listeners”. When we listen and do what were are ask the very first time that shows them that you are listening and that you are thankful for thier help in your learning.

So this week do your best to be First Time Listeners at Home, School, Practice and Martial Arts class!
